Diving at Koh Tang

Diving at Koh Tang

Koh Tang today is one of the best scuba diving areas in Cambodia with large fish like cobias and sail fish as well as large schools of jacks, snappers and fusiliers swimming over the reef in large numbers.  This island offers what are said to be the best diving and snorkelling opportunities in Cambodia, but visits must be arranged via the diving and fishing outfits in Sihanoukville, as they do not have independent accommodation on the islands themselves. Here you’ll dive with kingfish, moray eels and a wide variety of nudibranch. The island is pretty enough to warrant a few nights of post-dive chilling.

The island’s eight popular diving sites offer coral reefs and a wealth of underwater creatures, including fantastically colored nudibranches, poisonous pufferfish and dazzling stingrays with electric blue spots. . Koh Tang is an awesome place to travel to if you have passed your Open Water course and really want to experience some deep waters. The visibility is fantastic, with most divers reporting views of at least 20 meters every day.
